Solution for the Next Generation
The PXi Series implements Intel's latest technology into one state-of-the-art touchscreen system. The same system will support Celeron or Pentium III (FC-PGA) without requiring other components or driver upgrades.

With minimum speed of 400MHz, the Celeron model will fit well into your budget and performance needs. And when more power is required down the road, you can upgrade to Pentium III (whose price may be lower at the later time) by replacing the processor only. Or you can purchase a new PXi with Pentium III for new applications. All these systems will not require different components nor drivers, hence reducing your total maintenance costs and allowing your investment to last many more years.

The PXi is also equipped with Intel's Pro 100/10BaseT ethernet. It has autosensing capability, and supports remote boot and remote management (wired for management.) With its PCI slot, wireless (RF)networking is also made possible.

One Solution Many Applications
Its versatile design allows the PXi to fit well into many applications. When used as Point-Of-Sales, it will reduce training costs and allow employees to give better customer service. Or it can be setup as selfservice kiosks where customers will be able to do their own transactions.

With its powerful video processor, the PXi will also serve well as a Point-Of-Information kiosk, like playing multimedia presentation for product promotions or employee training. The video processor supports dual application/dual display, hence allowing you to connect another CRT/display running another application independently from the PXi. Other applications include internet browser, gaming, timeclock, and entertainment.

Custom Configuration
The PXi Series was designed with flexibility in mind. We understand that every customer may be unique and have their own requirements.

The PXi offers a variety of options for processors speed, memory, LCD types, touch sensors, and peripherals like magnetic card reader, smart card reader, customer display.


Expandability
The PXi allows addition of an expansion card (PCI) like wireless (RF) network adapter, modem card, multi-port I/O card, or SCSI card. You will not lose any funtionalities when using this feature.

The dimensions remain the same (except the thickness/depth increased by 1.25"), and can still be wallmounted. In most cases, users will not notice the difference.
