Every access point, I/O board or interface is a single module connecting directly to a RS485 network which means no more expansion boards, master controllers or features you may not need. Because each module individually contains all the information and processing power it requires for its particular tasks, it is self-sufficient and doesnt rely on other modules for support. Even in the event of a breakdown or glitch; each controller will continue to control its access point, validate cards (tags) and maintain its own log. Its then just a matter of uploading to the monitoring software when the main system is back online.
