Zebra Technologies’ TLP 3842 Barcode Printer brings high quality printing and convenience to specialty barcode applications.

When Small is Mighty
The TLP 3842 Barcode Printer presents Direct Thermal or Thermal Transfer barcode printing options to vertical, high-paced industries and businesses. The 3842 smoothly prints high-resolution, two-dimensional barcode labels not possible on larger desktop models.

The healthcare industry is only one that will profit from the advantages of the TLP 3842 printer. Small label sizes are continually needed for test tube labeling and records barcoding, for example. Parts labeling, jewelry tags, electrical component labeling are only a few of the additional uses for the TLP 3842 barcode printer.

Standing at only 6.8 inches (173 mm), the TLP 3842 still enables both thermal transfer and direct printing functions and allows media printing width of just over 4 inches (104mm), adjusting specialty label options to industry needs.

Clarity and Convenience
The TLP 3842 Barcode Printer maintains its high resolution of 300 dpi at two inches (51 mm) per second, enabling excellent graphics and clarity of its five standard fonts, expandable to eight. Businesses and industries don’t trade quality for specialty label printing.

The TPL 3842 comes standard with a 512 KB SRAM and 1 MB Flash, so users no longer worry about label order memory capacity or processing speed in a desktop label printer.

Connectivity of the TLP 3842 give businesses convenience options with either the USB, parallel, or Serial-RS232 interface choices.

The 3842 model has the ultra-convenient OpenACCESS design and the clear drop-in roll well window that enables businesses to check at a glance the remaining media availability. The head up sensor immediately notifies the user if position adjustment is required, eliminating the guesswork and streamlines printing efforts right from the start, all protected from casual damage by a double wall of sturdy plastic.

Summary
The TLP 3842 combines convenience and efficiency into a compact barcode printer, meeting businesses’ specialty label printing needs.
