Alliance brought advanced automatic identification ease service to customers in healthcare and other segments.

Lincolnshire, Illinois and Fort Mill, SC Honeywell International, listed as Hon at the NYSE in conjunction with Zebra Technologies Corporation(NASDAQ: ZBRA) announced their alliance to form a worldwide force for marketing advanced automatics solutions to corporate as well as individual clients. Through this superb alliance, the two companies are better able to sell innovative automatic identification and printing solutions to their resellers and partners in the healthcare, field mobility and self-service industries, anywhere in the world.

Regarding the partnering, John Waldron, the vice president for world wide marketing at Honeywell said, “Zebra has a strong brand recognition, presence and leadership in the market and therefore it becomes indispensable as a partner, to bring about a global champion and brand.”

The essence of this alliance between the two giants was that it allowed them to increase each other’s leverage in the market, globally. Their strengths in different segments in the market complimented each other well. The alliance did help the two companies increase their presence in the market. Both companies were able to identify their areas where the potential for growth lay.
