When it comes to touch screen pos, the size of the monitor is one consideration that most if not all merchants and users are very particular about. Remember that the size of the screen determines how much or how less will you be able to see what is included in the sale. However, it must be noted that size does not automatically mean ease of use or high quality performance as these things are usually determined by the kind of need that a merchant has plus the brand as well as the specs of the computer to be used.

Most of the time, touch screen pos monitor comes in three different sizes. First on the list as 12 inches monitors which stands ay about 24 inches tall. What is amazing about these small monitors is the fact that they are space saving. They are perfect for these businesses who do not have a lot of extra space to spare. There are times when these monitors come in with a printer as well and this makes it more compact and amenable for small spaces as the need to set up another place for the printer is put out of the picture. They also come in LED which require lesser power as compared to LCD screens thus you get to save space as well as electricity with small pos monitors that come with a printer.

Another size of pos monitors is 15 inches. Most of the time, they do not only come with a printer but they also have a slider that makes replacement of paper in the printer easy as it does not affect the performance of the pos. With this size of pos monitor you can simultaneously transact and replace cartridges and papers in a way that is not only as easy as pie but as smooth as silk as well.

The biggest types of pos monitors are 17 inches or up. The type of paper that can be used in these monitors can be as big as 80 mm wide. Just like other sizes of monitors, they can either be regular LCD or LED. If you want to save on initial investment and then opt for the LCD as they are cheaper but if you want to save on electricity, LED has long term benefits in terms of saving.
