In Orlando on 16 November 2010, Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ ZBRA) announced the addition of another high quality product to their well-established lead in printing and automatic identifications. The Z Band Fun and the Z Band Splash were announced at the IAAPA show. For sporting events and splash water events, there is no other product better than the economical bar-coded wristband. By the use of thermal printing, Zebra produced the encoded wristband that is so ideal for cruises, water parks and resorts.

For speedy guest transactions, convenience and guest data capture, the risk of customer fraud is minimized by a greater deal and plenty of time is saved. At the same time, the overall guest impression entertainment is improved, thus making the customer want to come back for more. In many ways similar to the RFID wristbands, the Z-band fun and Z-Band splash are way ahead in enhancements for customer transactions.

“For speedy guest transactions and less guest fraud, the Z Band Fun and Z Band Splash are the way to go” said Christine Weber, product marketing manager at Zebra Technologies.

For cashless payments from guests, this is so far the best in the market. Bar encoding will indicate the types and number of services that the guest is eligible for. In this case, the establishment can be better able to offer benefits to its highly prioritized customers.
