Inner Range 994621U

Inner Range SIFER tags are a general purpose MIFARE, DESFire, EV2, 4K, 20mm round coil. Available with SIFER-P, SIFER-U or SIFER-C programming they are supplied with a double sided self-adhesive backing which can be attached or inserted into physical assets as required.

SIFER-P - Standard Programming
SIFER-P tags are pre-programmed with the Inner Range SIFER global encryption key and can be used with standard SIFER readers without any need for card or reader configuration. Supplied with a pre-programmed site code and a tag number they are guaranteed to be unique and are ‘locked’ to disallow re-programming in the field

SIFER-U - User Programmed
SIFER-U tags have an identical set of specifications to that of SIFER-P with the major difference being that they can be re-programmed in the field. By default, the SIFER-U tag is shipped pre-programmed with the Inner Range SIFER global encryption key and can be used with standard SIFER readers without any need for card or reader configuration. The SIFER-U tags are supplied pre-programmed however, the site code and encryption key can be reprogrammed in the field using a SIFER card programming station.

SIFER-C - Custom Programmed
SIFER-C tags are ordered from the factory with specific custom programming. SIFER-C allows the tag number range, site code and encryption key to be programmed to order. SIFER-C tag numbers are guaranteed to be unique and are ‘locked’ to disallow credential re-programming in the field. SIFER-C tags are supplied with the SIFER-C mark and are printed with the tag number. Where SIFER-C credentials are to be deployed the SIFER readers/keypads on the site must also be re-configured to use the matching encryption key. To accommodate this a Reader Configuration Card IR-994614CNF is also required.
