What is Semi-Rugged?

The LE1700 is extremely lightweight and durable when compared to commercial notebooks and convertible tablet PCs. It can handle the bumps and drops that come with mobile professional use. The Motion LE1700 has been extensively drop tested to ensure it can perform in demanding mobile environments.

LE1700 Drop Tests
The drop tests performed on the LE1700 were from a height of 37 inches onto carpet over steel while the tablet PCs were operating. The systems were dropped on 10 sides. All LE1700 Tablet PCs tested were operational with no damage to the displays or hard drives.
