Nemtek 2Amp Power Pack

The Power Pack is a 13.6V power supply with a battery backup suitable for connection to mains (220-240Vac, 50-60Hz). The internal battery supplied is a lead-acid 12V 7Ah type.

The batteries to be used are rechargeable lead-acid batteries. No rechargeable batteries must not be used. The lead-acid batteries require venting and it is imperative that the Power Pack is situated in a well-ventilated area.

A new fully charged battery will typically provide about 2.5 hours backup at the rated 2A discharge current. Backup time will vary with the rate of the discharge current, temperature and state of charge of the battery. To prevent over discharge of the battery, the power pack has a battery disconnect circuit which will automatically connect the battery in circuit when the mains is connect to the unit and it will automatically disconnect the battery when the battery reaches about a 80% discharge during mains failure. An area inside the Power Pack has been kept open for the mounting of communication or other electronic PC Boards which can then be supplied by the Power Pack.
