Motorola announced a few days ago the launch of the smart phone. It combines the enterprise market with the aesthetics with business functionality. The smart phone is a touch screen with a 3 inch screen and a 3.2-megapixel camera. It will be able to fit in your pocket but yet have the rugged features that is needed for anybody that works out in the field. For example, a sales person. The smart phone can with stand from being dropped 4 feet, be exposure to any type of moisture, dust and even rain.
It is called the ES400 Enterprise Digital Assistant. It is for people that is looking for access to applications, be able to take inventory and to be able to complete transactions. The system the smart phone runs on is the Windows Mobile 6.5 but then in the future you will be able to upgrade.
There is a security feature on it, finger print scanner. For when making transactions you are able to use your finger print. There is also qwerty key board on the phone. It runs on an arms processor.
It is only available though Sprint. This is no talk of the price and the availability, of the phone.
