1. Touch terminals: Windows or Android
Windows touch terminals from Posiflex, Element, HP, FEC and Nexa make up most of the range and run the same POS software as a standard PC. Android terminals cost less and suit a simpler till or order-taking role where the software was built for it.
2. Customer-facing displays and signage
A customer-facing LCD from ELO or Nexa shows the transaction total and running items so the customer isn't reading the till screen upside-down. AOPEN and ELO digital media players and touch displays cover menu boards and wayfinding signage, and electronic shelf labels update pricing on the shelf without reprinting a ticket.
3. Mounting hardware and self-service kiosks
Ergonomic Solutions and Ergotron mounts cover POS terminals, tablets and EFTPOS units, including healthcare-grade mounts that wipe down between uses. Standalone and mini kiosks from Posiflex round out the range for self-checkout and order-ahead, where the whole terminal - screen, printer and payment - needs to stand on its own.
