The Samsung SRD-870DC-2TB H.264 Digital Video Recorder (8-channel, 2TB) offers real-time digital video recording and playback capabilities as well as monitoring functions from a remote PC via a convenient user interface. You can use the DVR (Digital Video Recorder) for recording H.264 format video with ADPCM audio format support via various recording modes such as time lapse, event, and scheduled recording. You are provided with 8-channel audio input and a single-channel audio output. The SRD-870DC-2TB supports recording rates up to 240 (NTSC) fps at D1 resolution (704 x 480 (NTSC)). Output display formats supported include BNC and VGA video output.

Substantial video content can be stored on up to 5 internal Hard Disk Drives (HDDs) with a storage capacity of 500GB. Faster and reliable data transfer rates are enabled via the HDD/DVD SATA interface. Data backups can be taken on mass storage HDDs at high speed via the USB 2.0 and e-SATA ports. Also integrated into the SRD-870DC-2TB, is a web viewer and a DVD writer. You can search the recorded content using multiple options such as time, event, backup, POS and motion detection. Also offered are the Dynamic DNS and email-based event notification features. The SRD-870DC-2TB is compatible with the Samsung SmartViewer and NET-I viewer.
