Based on Zebra-designed proprietary radio technology, the RFD40 UHF RFID Standard Sled raises the bar for RFID reading performance with a read rate of 1100+ tags per second. The RFD40 sled utilizes a similar antenna to that of the RFD2000 and MC3330xR so users will be familiar with the reading experience. A new tri-function user-programmable trigger allows for quick access to RFID reading and barcode scanning functions. By default, the top trigger is set to control RFID reading operation and the bottom trigger is configured to control the barcode scanner in the Zebra mobile computer.
