The ExtremeSwitching 5000 Series are Extreme's cloud-ready, universal switch platforms designed for wiring closet and network edge environments. They are purpose-built for future-ready services, with superior performance and functionality over earlier generation Extreme switching hardware.
Extreme Networks licenses the right to use the intellectual property (software) on its Ethernet Switching products. This document provides guidance on the licensing requirements for the Ethernet Routing Switch (ERS) 4800, 4900 and 5900 Series products, and the Virtual Services Platform (VSP) 4000, 7200, 7400, 8200, 8400, 8600, and 9000 Series products.
Premier and Premier with MACsec licenses are mutually exclusive.
