The CSN SELECT™ AY-x6255 is a series of multi-credential technology contactless smart card (13.56 MHz) readers that support access by an NFC compatible Android smartphone app* for use in access control system solutions. The readers have the flexibility to read the Card Serial Number (CSN) from many smart card RFID standards, perfect for transitioning from one technology to another. UV resistant and with an IP65 rated sleek and modern design, the readers can be used comfortably in any installation environment whether indoors or outdoors.

The standard AY-x6255 readers are configured to read the CSN of the most popular smart cards in the security industry, as well as NFC compatible Android smartphones, and output the CSN in Wiegand format. Four individual control lines provide green LED control, red LED control, and buzzer control inputs, as well as an output for the optical wall tamper detector. Select models are also able to communicate with host controllers that support the Open Standard Device Protocol (OSDP).

The Rosslare AY-Q6255 is an anti-vandal Mifare smartcard contactless reader, which provides the capability of serial ID reading from many smart card RFID standards which is great for Mifare cards to any standard access control system. With 7 programmable output formats, it will fit almost any existing system's needs and required read information, making it a very simple, reliable and cost effective way to upgrade your system to smartcard standard.

This fully sealed, epoxy potted unit provides a weatherproof and vandal-resistant solution for extremely harsh environments.
