The 1564 is able to read high density 1D barcodes at 3 mil resolution and 2D barcodes. It connects with the communication stand from a Bluetooth range of 90 meters (295 feet) away, enabling workers to get more done in more places. The option of hands-free scanning boosts efficiency, particularly in retail environments. Capable of Bluetooth transmission, the 1564 ensures the capture of critical information anytime, anywhere.

It includes a cradle that acts as base station and charger it has a Bluetooth range of up to 90m and out of range memory mode it has a user replaceable battery it can connect to iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch or Android devices and much more. For cordless 2D scanning the 1564 is your best choice for a high performance full featured and rugged device but at a much lower price point than it's competitors.
