Sockets Cordless Ring Scanner 9P is a Bluetooth-enabled wireless barcode scanner that combines the power of Class-2 laser barcode scanning with the convenience of Bluetooth wireless technology in a comfortable hands-free solution. The scanner is worn on the index finger of either the right or left hand and can be triggered by the thumb or middle finger. This Class-1 Bluetooth radio unit transmits data wirelessly to a Bluetooth-enabled mobile computer within a range of 300 ft 100 m. The Socket Error-Proof Protocol ensures that the host computer successfully receives each and every scan. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the unit. The exclusive Liquidmetal rugged case withstands multiple 4-foot drops.

Cordless Ring Scanner 9P from Socket offers Bluetooth wireless barcode scanning to meet a wide range of application requirements and make mobile scanning convenient. Both the ring scanner and the Bluetooth unit are made of an exclusive LiquidMetal construction for extreme durability that can be used in the most demanding environments. LiquidMetal is more than twice as strong as Titanium. Cordless Ring Scanner 9P is supported by SocketScan keyboard emulation software and software developer's kit (SDK). The state-of-the-art Class-2 laser enables you to scan damaged, poor quality or hard-to-read barcodes in the harshest conditions. SocketScan software directs scanned data into any Windows program as if it were manually typed, so you can use the Cordless Ring Scanner 9P with all of your favorite applications without any programming. The Class-1 Bluetooth radio has a range of 330 ft. (100 m).
