With three chassis lengths, multiple check stand mounting options, and the addition of a Top Down Reader (TDR), retailers can customize a solution that perfectly fits their assisted and self-checkout needs.

Available in both basic and advanced configurations, the 9900i scanners and multi-plane imaging scanner/scales are the ideal Point-of-Sale (POS) solution for high-volume checkout environments.

Available in three heights, the TDR also offers an optional integrated customer-facing reader, enabling shoppers to scan mobile devices and coupons independently in assisted lanes—boosting efficiency and enhancing the checkout experience.

The Magellan 9900i is powered by QuadVision™, an advanced multi-core processor and multi-camera system running on an embedded Linux operating system, ensuring a future-ready platform.

With optional ScanSentry™ color cameras and neural processors (available in 2023), the 9900i is designed to fully support AI-driven software—enhancing customer satisfaction and strengthening loss prevention at checkout.

Future-ready for AI applications, the 9900i supports optional integrated color cameras and color Top Down Readers (TDRs) for machine learning image capture, along with real-time video streaming via USB 3.0 for enhanced loss prevention.

Optimized for the next-generation GS1 Digital Link symbology, the 9900i seamlessly integrates valuable manufacturing and health safety data into each transaction. Final GS1 decoding updates will be implemented following pilot testing.
