Wetcover Splash Proof Register Covers

Our entire line of EFT POS, touchscreen and keyboard protective covers are infused with an inorganic, silver-based, broad-spectrum biocide additive. This additive gives the splash covers antibacterial abilities.

Each Wetcover splash cover contains a certain concentration of silver contained within our patented active antimicrobial agent. Silver ions are released on demand by this agent, which safely stops microbial growth. In addition, it has superb temperature stability (>600 degrees), making every product ideal for thermoset resin systems without negatively impacting the physical characteristics.

Additives used in our covers have an amount of silver ten times greater than that of other silver biocides, so only low concentrations are necessary. Demonstrations show that in 24 hours, products with lower additive levels stop 99.99 percent of bacteria growth. Long-term activity is maximized by the active silver ingredient, which is released in a controlled manner.

Silicone is an inorganic polymer that has a wide operating temperature range, which is unmatched in comparison to other elastomers.

This material is found in multiple components used in the auto industry, like connector boots, air-conditioning seals and gaskets and turbocharger hoses. Silicone is also utilized throughout the medical field for making equipment such as medication dispensing systems and peristaltic pump tubing.

Since aerospace technology requires polymers of a wide temperature range, silicone is used in multiple fuel and engine applications.

A clean room with blanking facilities is dedicated to producing only the raw material. Sealed bags placed inside purpose-designed containers are used to store the finished compound. Therefore, when each splash cover is manufactured, it is always of the utmost quality.
