The Quasar 4K Fixed Box camera is a multi-purpose 4K UHD resolution evidentiary detail camera combined with a low light FHD camera for nighttime operations. Utilizing programmable schedules, the camera can switch from UHD mode (4K with up to 30 FPS) during daytime, to Enhanced Low Light Performance mode (1080P with up to 60 FPS) at night time, thus providing optimal image capture at all times based on optimal scene resolution along with sWDR.

Combined with FLIR's United VMS, you can take advantage of our unique Adaptive Streaming technology, ensuring minimum impact on your network and IT infrastructure.

Its compact form factor allows for the use of specialized housings ranging from explosion-proof to extreme weather, as well as a wide selection of specialized lenses from super wide to long telephoto.

This makes the FLIR Quasar 4K fixed box camera an ideal option for specialized applications in highly demanding deployments found in tunnel entrances, security check-points, critical infrastructure, oil and gas refineries, airport terminals, casino cages and more.
